Summer 2010 Sessions:

Trailblazers I & II   (formerly Mini-Camp) - Grades 1-4

Dates: June 9-11 or July 21-23

Cost $125

For all children completing grades 1-4 are invited to attend this fun, friendly, and exciting camp! For many campers at Camp CILCA this is the first opportunity they experience away from home. This three day and two night adventure staying in cabins is just enough fun, Christian praise, and outdoor experiences that every Trailblazer would want! Counselors and Junior Counselors are eager to be with your children as they do fun activities like swimming, arts and crafts, safari, campfire, Bible study, water activities, and much much more!

Volunteer Week - High School and above

Dates:  June 6-8

Cost: Free

For high school students who are willing to serve the basic needs for our Joyful Heart campers this sumer.  Joyful Hearts is a wonderful opportunity for volunteers to help those ith disabilities enjoy a wonderful time at Camp CILCA.  Usually our volunteers are teamed up with a Joyful Heart's camper to develop a one-on-one relationship.  This is a great opportunity to help our Joyful Heart's campers experience a wonderful time in God's great creation at Camp CILCA!.

Joyful Hearts I (formerly Special Needs Camp)

Dates: June 6-8 2010

Cost: $110


This camp session is for all those beloved individuals who are special to us in so many ways.  Disabilities come in all shapes and forms.  During this session at Camp CILCA those with special needs get to experience the wonders and joys of outdoor ministry with the assistance from volunteers and summer staff.  Arts and crafts, swim time, song time, and Bible studies are some the awesome activities each person will undertake.  Joyful Hearts provides a wonderfully caring time for all those attend.  Come join us! Meet some new friends or reunited with old ones!

Parent / Child Camp  - 4 years to 4th Grade

Dates: June 25-26 or July 23-24

Cost: $42.50 per person (parents and campers must each register)

Overnight camping experiences are forever remembered by your children as you become involved with their Camp CILCA experience during Parent Child Camp.  Take the opportunity to meet other parents with children your age  as you participate with families in all sorts of fun activities.  Your children get to sampe camp life as they participate is various activities like archery, swimming, canoeing, arts & crafts, and chapel time.  Lets not forget that the summer staff also become involved to provide the best camping experience.

Pioneers I & II  (formerly Young Explorers) - Grades 3-5

Session I:  June 13-18       Cost: $215.00

Session II: July 5-9             Cost: $180.00 (price reduced for starting on Monday)

For all children completing grades 3-5 are invited to attend this week long session at Camp CILCA. Pioneers usually have tasted camp life from previously attending Trailblazers and now are ready to stay at Camp CILCA for a week long adventure! More all camp games, hikes, fishing, canoeing, swimming, Bible studies, campfires, arts and crafts, star gazing, and lots of other activities will most certainly guarantee the grandest of memories for your child/children. Be prepared to hear your child sing countless camp songs, talk about their favorite counselor, and favorite games as they encounter this grand adventure as a Pioneer at Camp CILCA!

Explorers I & II- Grades 5-7

Dates: June 20-25 or July 11-16

Cost: $215.00

For all Children completing grades 5-7 are invited to attend this week long session at Camp CILCA. Explorers are a special brand of campers who love to enjoy the outdoors, swimming, and lots of other fun activities. Like previous camp sessions, Explorers get to adventure farther into what Camp CILCA has to offer. Archery, Challenge Course, Underground Church, and more grand all-camp games are added to this fun filled week. Friendships begin to form with counselors and other campers that last a life time.

Bike Camp - Grades 5-7

Dates:  June 20-25

Cost: $240.00

For all campers finishing grades 5-7 are welcome to register for this fun filled adventure taking you to all sorts of trails and roads on your bike!  Embark with the rest of the group as you stay at Camp CILCA and travel to local state parks to ride countless trails.  When you are not riding your bicycle you can participate with other Explorers in normal camp activiites.  You won't miss out on swimming, underground Church, campfires, nor other various activities.

Volleyball Camp - Grades 5-7

Dates: June 20-25

Cost: $240.00

All campers finishing grades 5-7 are welcome to register for this sport oriented volleyball week.  Bringing in the varsity volleyball coach from Lutheran Highschool your child will be challenged as well as have fun playing volleyball all week long.  Expect to do drills, exercises, play countless volleyball games and to make great friends through the whole time you are here.  When volleyball is not occupying your child's mind he/she will be involved with normal Explorer activities.  Don't miss out on this spectacular opportunity to learn more about volleyball and have fun at Camp CILCA!.



Adventurers I  & II   (formerly Jr. High) - Grades 7-9

Dates: June 27-July 2 or July 25-30

Cost: $215.00

For all young teens completing grades 7-9 are invited to attend this week long session at Camp CILCA. Veteran campers and new campers quickly bond as they partake in this grand adventure all week long. Often times people wonder if there is much difference between Adventure and Explorers and the answer is YES! Adventure sessions offer more quality time to socialize with fellow campers and staff members, complex challenge course, and grander all camp games. Devotions and Bible Studies invite Adventure teens to new heights in their walk with Jesus Christ as their Savior.

Adventurers  Night Owl Grades 7-9

Date:  June 27-July 2

Cost:  $240.00

If your child stays up all hours of the night and enjoys sleeping during the day then she/he is most certainly a night owl. Camp CILCA has a camp session just perfect for you child. The whole week while your son/daughter is here at Camp CILCA he/she will experience outdoor ministry from the flip side of how we usually run things. Sleeping in the Retreat Center during the day and playing all around Camp CILCA's 220 acres at night is most certainly an experience to be had!


Explorer OutPost Grades 5-7

Dates: July 11-16

Cost: $180.00

Camp CILCA has been blessed to own 220 acres. This summer your child can take full advantage of enjoying camping under the stars in the back property of the camp. If your son or daughter is looking to do some fun and exciting camping in areas of Camp CILCA that normal campers do not get exposed to then this is your week to come! Fishing, wildlife appreciation, night games, star gazing, creek walking and challenge course will contribute to the fun you will have these weeks.

Adventurer Outpost Grades 7-9

Dates: July 25-30

Cost: $180.00

This summer your child can take full advantage of enjoying camping under the stars in the back property of the camp. If your son or daughter is looking to do some fun and exciting camping in areas of Camp CILCA that normal campers do not get exposed to then this is your week to come! Fishing, wildlife appreciation, night games, star gazing, creek walking and challenge course will contribute to the fun you will have these weeks.   Adventurer Outpost has greater challenges and responsibilities for each camper to be in charge of.

Guitar Camp Grades 9-12 (must have finished grade 9)

Dates: August 1-6

Cost: $215.00

If your son or daughter is attending high school this year, they can attend guitar camp this summer! Since Guitar Camp will go on the same time as High School week August 1-6, you will not miss your friends who are coming to that camp. In Guitar Camp, all skill levels are welcome to attend. Guest guitar players, staff members and even the Camp Director will enhance your guitar skills while teaching Christian songs and camp favorites!








High School - Grades 9-12 (must have finished grade 9)

Dates: August 1-6

Cost: $215.00

All campers finishing grade 9 through their senior year are welcome to register for the final week of the summer.  Certainly, this is a much more relaxed atomsphere where teens and summer staff establish a closer bond with each other while they participate in Bible Studies, camp acitivities and some music concerts.  This year we have the honor of having Lost and Found on August 3rd.  It will be a free concert to the public.  Camp CILCA will also have a small time Christian Band coming from Peoria to later on in the week.  Overall, the final week of camp has no less enthuisasm than the first.  In fact, the last week of camp is th emost anticipated week for both staff and campers who have spent countless years in various Camp CILCA programming.  Come and enjoy and learn about Jesus Christ in a much more challenging atomsphere than all other weeks offer.
