The theme this summer is "Foot Loose: Walking in the shoes of heroes and martyrs of the Christian Faith." For many children and middle-aged youth, role models are often found on the television or at school. What role models do we have in the Christian church today? Who do children look up to as a great examples when it comes to their faith in Christ? Come join us this summer as we explore together the Bible and contemporary heroes and martyrs of the Christian Faith. This journey will take us to places throughout the world and even close to home as we seek out inspiring Christians. Role models inspire us to be greater than we can possibly be. As a child trains harder in a sport to be like his/her favorite athelete, they do so because they are inspired by greatness. As the book of Isaiah says "but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." God has provided countless heroes and martyrs to serve as a pillar of strength that inspires us to soar on eagle's wings.

New Programs Added for Summer 2010!!!

Every year new programs are introduced to Camp CILCA and this year is no exception. The new summer 2010 camp weeks are Explorer Outpost, Adventure Outpost, Guitar Camp, and CILCA Vacation.

Explorer and Adventurer Outpost: Camp CILCA has been blessed to own 220 acres. This summer your child can take full advantage of enjoying camping under the stars in the back property of the camp. If your son or daughter is looking to do some fun and exciting camping in areas of Camp CILCA that normal campers do not get exposed to then this is your week to come! Fishing, wildlife appreciation, night games, star gazing, creek walking and challenge course will contribute to the fun you will have these weeks.

Guitar Camp: If your son or daughter is attending high school this year, they can attend guitar camp this summer! Since Guitar Camp will go on the same time as High School week August 1-6, you will not miss your friends who are coming to that camp. In Guitar Camp, all skill levels are welcome to attend. Guest guitar players, staff members and even the Camp Director will enhance your guitar skills while teaching Christian songs and camp favorites!

CILCA Vacation: Are you looking for a family vacation that will provide lots of entertainment, meals, and quality Christian fellowship? Join us by registering your family to attend CILCA Vacation this summer. The cost for this event is very affordable and well worth the price. Our summer staff have many activities for your children as well as for adults. Make no mistake, there is also much time to relax, swim, fish, sun tan, play games, hike, canoe, or whatever your heart desires. Bible studies will accomodate all ages for this very relaxing time.
