Letters from former Campers/Parents

Rachael had a wonderful time and still is having "one more story" about camp. The way your counselors at CILCA focus on the students to make their experience special is a special part of CILCA that other camps forget about. She is still "camp sick" and thinks about what the new campers are experiencing. We can't wait until next year.  Robin Bomball  - - Email from a parent - July 2008

Just wanted to send a great THANK YOU to you and your crew at Camp CILCA. This was the first overnite camping trip for our children, Matthew, Kevin and Christina Mealwitz! They had a great time and are talking endlessly about it. The boys are even singing the camp songs still and wearing their t-shirts everyday...yes the boys singing! Wonderful! Hats off to you and your crew. Thank you for the wonderful work at the camp. They cannot wait until they go again!  Thank you,  Lisa Mealwitz!  - - Email from a parent - June 2008

Here is part of a letter sent to a counselor this past summer: "I'm so glad I went to camp this year! It's so much fun. I wish I could stay there all summer. That would be so cool. I miss it already and I haven't even been gone for a week…I love going to camp because every year I take in more and more about God and it just makes me so happy! I don't know who wouldn't want to come to Camp CILCA they would have to be absolutely crazy!"

"I want to congratulate the staff on their fabulous summer week of fun. My son, never having been to a camp before, it was with grave reservations that I dropped him off. He has not stopped talking about his week's experience and how much he looks forward to his next session. Kudos to you and your staff!!! When it's 90+ degrees with no AC or electronics, and an 11 year old can be that excited, what you are doing is exceptional. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK" - Peg Olson
